ICES Annual Science Conference 2025 The ICES Annual Science Conference 2025 took place in Klaipėda, Lithuania, from September 15 to 18, 2025. It brought together 497 participants in-person and featured 325 oral presentations, 166 posters and 3 keynote talks. Members of PLAnT’s team were present at the conference to disseminate project results, from oral to poster communications. Postdoc Catarina Pereira Santos presented an oral communication about “Navigating the governance landscape of the Southern Ocean: Lessons from over sixty years of international collaboration", while PhD Student Sara García-Morales presented a poster communication on "Marine spatial planning under a changing climate: A case study in Mallorca, Balearic Islands”. Four other posters communications were presented at the meeting, developed by the PI, Catarina Frazão Santos, Postdoc Francisco Borges, PhD Student Miguel Fernandes and PhD Student David Abreu dos Santos.
