CIÊNCIAS Research & Innovation Day 2024 On October 22, CIÊNCIAS organised the 6th edition of its Research & Innovation Day. This year's edition was dedicated to the theme "TIME for Science, Science of TIME", in its various manifestations in scientific research and society. The event brought together hundreds of participants, from researchers to the CIÊNCIAS academic community. The project PI, Catarina Frazão Santos, was invited to present one of the seven Flash Talks of the event — the one on Life Sciences. Her talk focused on "TIME to take climate-smart planning to the high seas", where she highlighted the urgency of developing climate-smart marine spatial planning and the work developed under project PLAnT. The Flash Talk recording is available below. The event aimed to celebrate the groundbreaking research and innovation developed at CIÊNCIAS, highlighting the dedication and creativity of its members. It was an opportunity for faculty, researchers and innovators to share their work with both internal and external communities, fostering collaborations and networking.
